Rotary screen printing is a coating technology that combines the features of gravure web printing and silk screen printing, with a wide range of applications, including: - Printing, textile finishing/processing, and screen plate manufacturing fields - Wallpaper, flooring, and building material manufacturing fields - Special coatings, special printing fields, and electronic component manufacturing fields, among others. High speed Coating speed of 6 to 30 m/min, with a wet film thickness of 3 to 80 μm is possible. Continuity Specializes in endless pattern coating that cannot be achieved with flat screens. Stability Stable continuous coating is possible due to consistent printing pressure. It excels in coating with UV-curable inks that do not deteriorate in a short time. Thick film capability Coating with a film thickness of 5 μm or more is possible at speeds comparable to gravure web machines.

With Otis's unique equipment, the film thickness is uniform, and it has become possible to perform overprinting in high-speed rotary screen printing.

At Otis, we are developing our own rotary screen printing equipment. Rotary screen printing features a uniform printing film thickness and the ability to create thick films. It allows for high-speed printing in a rotary manner similar to offset printing. We have recently established a printing technology that enables accurate overlay printing with high positional precision. This technology allows for the printing of electronic circuits using conductive pastes such as silver, copper, and carbon, as well as the layering of different inks in various shapes, including resist films made from insulating inks. It can accommodate both UV-curable and heat-drying inks, and is capable of printing high-viscosity inks, thus expanding the range of inks and pastes that can be used. Additionally, Otis excels in processing beyond printing, including die-cutting and laminating of resin films and adhesive tapes. You can trust us with the composite processing of printing and sheet materials or double-sided tapes.
